I am also so glad that you mentioned Castle Freak, because I was beginning to think that it was a figment of my imagination, like I was the only person who saw that movie.

Also I don't know whether Kelly Jo Minter makes the cut, but she was in Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Master and did not die, as well as The People Under the Stairs. She was also in Popcorn, but I can't remember if she died in that one (have to rematch that, hehe.)Lady Shashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09389936569735012250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6132620721136610844.post-84530727931937124792010-03-01T21:30:01.268-06:002010-03-01T21:30:01.268-06:00If I ever made a slasher film, the black female wo...If I ever made a slasher film, the black female would be the only one to make it out alive. Which would be awesome, considering that usually in horror movies African Americans bite the dust first.MadMan_731https://www.blogger.com/profile/05096174756348159739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6132620721136610844.post-19259479607394726822010-03-01T15:56:56.224-06:002010-03-01T15:56:56.224-06:00I think directors have really taken baby steps int...I think directors have really taken baby steps into putting black women in strong roles in horror movies lately. Christina Millian (Pulse) and Meagan Good (Venom, One Missed Call, Saw V, The Unborn) gave semi-strong performances in moderately entertaining movies. Especially Meagan Good, I can see as a strong lead in some horror movies.R.D.
